Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)
The Story
Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. They employ more than 4,000 staff and offer a wide range of development opportunities, staff benefits and a genuinely supportive working environment.
Kaylee Miller, Special Events Administrator was first introduced to the WellGiving platform through a contact. She saw how it was being used for staff engagement and corporate challenges, what piqued her interest was the ability to adapt the platform for their own events needs.
They often have last minute new requirements from their supporters, so require a way to adapt existing challenges at short notice. The WellGiving platform is designed to be personalised to each charity’s unique requirements.
GOSH needed a way of engaging their supporters to participate in challenges and encourage maximum fundraising from each of them.
How We Helped
WellGiving is a pre-built challenge platform that perfectly aligns with individual event needs and can be personalised for each challenge. The ability to provide bespoke features was important to GOSH.
Paul was their key contact and as such provided personal support when questions were raised and additional functions required to further personalise their challenges.
WellGiving is an easy solution for GOSH to implement a challenge events platform. It’s easily adaptable features makes it a bespoke experience for supporters.
Results
The total raised in only nine months of 2021 is a staggering £34,254.21 which is amazing! GOSH received high engagement and high supporter participation, which is a fantastic result for the charity and the wellbeing of their staff.
